We stumbled upon a cute looking clinic cafe while walking around Gurney Plaza, looking for food. There’s plenty of room in this “clinic” They put Tom and Jerry on the LCD but I thought something like ER or Grey’s Anatomy was more appropriate. Even the utensils were made to look like you’re in an operating [...] Sungai Lembing is about 45 minutes from Kuantan. A sleepy small town with very few people. There’s only one road leading to this place. Everybody knows when there are new comers in town. My original intention was to hike up Bukit Panorama to view the spectacular sun rise with hills and clouds below. This became [...] This was a short vacation in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. We stayed at the Impiana Cherating. Pretty cozy place. But too hot for my liking. Was a good thing that it rained a little during our stay. Breakfast at the “kedai kopi” (the hotel restaurant) was good. Nasi lemak is always welcome in [...] These were taken on my last day back in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago. There’s a couple of Otaku shops in Japan town but cannot match with those in KL. A lot of the souvenir shops sell some very cool samurai weapons, even the ones which saw real battles.
