This was a short vacation in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. We stayed at the Impiana Cherating. Pretty cozy place. But too hot for my liking. Was a good thing that it rained a little during our stay. Breakfast at the “kedai kopi” (the hotel restaurant) was good. Nasi lemak is always welcome in [...] These were taken on my last day back in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago. There’s a couple of Otaku shops in Japan town but cannot match with those in KL. A lot of the souvenir shops sell some very cool samurai weapons, even the ones which saw real battles. Too bad I can’t [...] This is the most breathtaking place I’ve ever been to in my life so far. If you really want to enjoy this place, book a room in one of the few hotels inside the park or apply for a camping ground many moons ahead. Santa Cruz Beach is a fun place. Lots of things to do if you have the time. A little too cold for me to take a dip in the sea. The best thing to do here? Get a lazy chair under a huge shade and just watch people.
