Solo in Bangkok ~ Witnessing The Rise of The Red

This post will also jump queue due to recent development in Pattaya. On 2nd April, I had intended to go to Vimanmek…somebody told me the ticket used in the grand palace can be used here too. Have I been tricked again?

Anyway, I was told by the tuk tuk driver that the road was blocked and he was unable to bring me there. So I asked around and walked under the blistering sun. I ended up being more adventurous than usual and went through the heart of where the action lies…even got myself a red souvenir :P Note that I have no interest in Thai politics. I do not support whoever, not even in my own country :P

As I passed through the area, I can feel the spirit was high. In fact some were singing and dancing on stage. There was a huge stock pile of food on the street, souvenirs and people sleeping on the street. Everything was peaceful. The police station was a few steps away.
